The Pittsburgh Steelers have plenty of work to do ahead of them.
Their setback to the Cleveland Browns pretty much sounded off the alarms within the organization, up to the point where they made their first in-season coaching change since 1941.
But even the hardest-working people on Earth need to get a breather every now and then, especially during the holidays.
That’s why HC Mike Tomlin hosted two of his young stars, WR George Pickens and OT Broderick Jones, at home for Thanksgiving, as they’re both Georgia products, just like Tomlin’s daughter, Harlyn (via Dov Kleiman).

It’s nice to see a coach taking this kind of initiative, and this is just one of the many examples of Coach Tomlin always going the extra mile to inspire his players.
Hopefully, this will help to smooth things out with Pickens.
The talented second-year pro had made the headlines for all the wrong reasons this season.
He voiced his frustration for his lack of targets and involvement in the passing game on social media, unfollowing QB Kenny Pickett and the team, and deleting all Steelers-related pictures from social media.
Pickens is one of the best young wide receivers in the game, and he made a big impact when involved as the primary wide receiver.
Also, Matt Canada being fired proves that he was right about being frustrated by the team’s poor offensive execution.
Then again, he has to earn his stripes in the league first before throwing tantrums on social media, and Tomlin surely addressed that issue on the table.
