The Pittsburgh Steelers can’t afford another setback if they want to make the playoffs, and the same goes for the Seattle Seahawks.
That’s why both teams will take an early-playoff approach to their upcoming matchup, as it could have huge postseason implications for them.
With that in mind, Steelers’ stellar rookie CB Joey Porter Jr. admitted that he’s been looking forward to this matchup with Seahawks star D.K. Metcalf for a while now (via The Standard on Twitter).

Porter has been one of the lone bright spots in Mike Tomlin’s team this season, proving to be ahead of schedule in his development and showcasing the potential to be a legitimate lockdown corner somewhere down the line.
He knows keeping up with one of the most physical players in the league won’t be easy, especially for him as a rookie, but he’s up to the challenge.
Metcalf has earned a bit of a reputation around the league not only for his pass-catching skills and his strong build but also for his short leash and strong temper.
He’s not the kind of player you want to cross paths with, especially as a rookie.
Then again. Porter is more than capable of holding his own, and this will be one of the key matchups of this must-watch clash.
Mason Rudolph will lead the offense for the black and gold as Kenny Pickett continues to nurse his way back from an ankle injury, so the defensive unit will be key to keeping the postseason hopes alive.
