The Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense needs to get to the 21st century.
They’ve struggled to keep pace with the rest of the league for way too long now, and it’s about time they hire someone who could take them to the next level.
Notably, renowned NFL insider Peter King recently revealed that the team could be interested in hiring Kliff Kingsbury to be their next offensive coordinator.
With that in mind, fans took to Twitter to react to the news, and most of them actually wanted it to happen (via Andrew Fillipponi on Twitter).
I hope he gets it but Steelers will fumble the ball as usual

Hire Kliff, trade Watt and 20th overall to Chicago for 1.1, draft Williams, Super Bowl by 2030.

It’s crazy to see that Steelers fans could get so excited about Kingsbury being hired, considering how much he was mocked for underachieving with both Patrick Mahomes and Kyler Murray.
Kingsbury’s teams usually got to hot starts to the season, and they fell off a cliff in the second half.
Then again, it also speaks volumes of the current state of the offense, and Kingsbury is a young coach with fresh ideas and a proven track record of offensive success.
Some people aren’t suited to be head coaches but thrive as coordinators, just like Josh McDaniels.
Perhaps that’s the case with Kingsbury, who could give this team a breath of fresh air and a new offensive perspective.
Then again, this team will also need to get better at the quarterback position regardless of who’s their next offensive coordinator, as there’s only so much any offensive coordinator could do with a QB room consisting of Mason Rudolph, Mitch Trubisky, and Kenny Pickett.
