The Pittsburgh Steelers have the longest-tenured head coach in the game.
With Bill Belichick gone, Mike Tomlin and the Steelers have the strongest marriage in the league, and that’s no minor thing.
Not many teams are patient enough with their coaches to allow them to be in charge for 17 years.
And while there were plenty of rumblings about Tomlin’s future with the organization, he was quick to dismiss that narrative right away.
With that in mind, star DT Cam Heyward went out of his way to laud his current coach.
Talking on NFL Total Access, he made sure to let everybody know that all he cares about is winning more Super Bowls, adding that he always looks to instill and inspire that in his players as well.

Some fans aren’t that impressed, but the fact that Mike Tomlin has been able to finish every single season without a losing record is no ordinary thing.
We’re talking about a guy who’s been able to lead subpar teams to the playoffs despite playing in an AFC full of powerhouses.
This season alone was another testament to his greatness as one of the savviest coaches out there, leading a team with perhaps the worst QB room in the league to the postseason.
Now, it’s all about finally giving him something to work with on offense.
But even if he doesn’t get the job done next season either, there’s just no way to deny he’s one of the best tacticians this game has ever seen.
